Terms
Plain language, one page. Using the pilot means agreeing to these.

What the service is
ButlerDesk is currently a founder-run pilot operated by Nick Rogerson: you send redacted client-meeting material and engagement terms by email, and a structured client brief (recap, follow-ups, drafted email, time log, billing position) is personally produced and returned, normally within 24 hours. It is a human-delivered service assisted by a large-language model - not yet a self-serve application.
Price and cancellation
- The first setup and one processed interaction are free. No card is required.
- Continuing after the free run costs $29/month, paid via Stripe. You will always be asked before anything becomes billable.
- Cancel any time by email; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month. No minimum term, no cancellation fee.
Your responsibilities
- Send only material you are entitled to share, redacted of client-identifying or confidential information. Do not send passwords or account access.
- Review every brief and drafted email before using it. Nothing is sent to your clients automatically; the judgement on what to send remains yours.
What is not promised
The pilot is provided as-is, without warranty. Briefs can contain mistakes - that is why you review them. The service is not accounting, legal or tax advice, and total liability arising from the pilot is limited to the fees you have paid in the previous three months.
Changes and law
If these terms change materially, existing pilot users are told by email first. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
